Sustainable energy project
We are working with rural communities in Kenya to ensure production and use of energy that has minimal effects on the environment, energy which is sustainable and affordable at community level.
Availing alteration and sustainable energy supports the rural communities to alleviate poverty and also improve education of children primarily in areas where children use kerosene lamps for study, they project also improves the health by avoiding communicable diseases through kerosene suit.
We provide advocacy and awareness services and capacity building support for communities on sustainable energy, small and medium enterprises on solar, developing productive clean cooking in rural communities and women’s economic empowerment through in Kenya and Democratic Republic of Congo.
We also support widows, child headed households and granny headed households to acquire solar or alternative bio-energy.
